HUAKAʻI DAYS

  • School Field Trips

We provide school field trips for students from preschool to college. We welcome all age groups and lead a basic introduction to Paeloko and the plants we have on site and then we conduct a mālama ʻāina activity or hana noʻeau workshop rooted in moʻolelo or ʻolelo noʻeau.

  • Professional Development

We welcome any group or organization to bring their staff to Paeloko to encourage learning through ʻike Hawaiʻi and building pilina and strengthening relationships among working groups. We will conduct a talk story session with the coordinator to curate our programming to meet your companyʻs needs.

  • Hawaiian Immersion Capability

We have the ability to conduct our programming via ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi as our on site lead is a graduate of Kula Kaiapuni and has been a Punana Leo kumu for over 14 years. Her expertise and passion for Hawaiian language and culture guides her work here at Paeloko.

  • Hana Noʻeau

We provide programming that focuses on hana noʻeau and mālama ʻāina activities. We showcase learning via hands-on projects such as working in the loʻi, tending the mala, or creating kapa or kaula with resources available on the property.
